Glamorgan Heritage Coast

A fantastic time was had by all on the first leg of our journey from Porthcawl to Barry. It was a great turn out with visiting sunshine to boot. Thanks for coming along everyone!

The next legs of the journey take place on Saturday, 6th. (Ogmore to Llantwit Major) and Sunday, 21st. February, (Llantwit Major to Barry Island). You are more than welcome to join us. Please e-mail Sharon on toowittwoo@hotmail.co.uk. Transport can be provided to make the one way journey possible. An earlystart will ensure that we still enjoy the kick off for the six nations (Wales England 5pm)

Raffle Great Days Out!

More prizes arrived today, vouchers for days out! Fantastic prizes, a low cost (just the cost of one amazing raffle) but fabulous day out. We have tickets for Folly Farm, Milky Way Adventure Land, Oakwood and Techniquest.
A big thank you to these places for helping us with our fund raising. Remember to be in with a chance of winning these great prizes you have to buy a Ashgrove CLIMB4AUTISM raffle ticket. We will let you know when the tickets go on sale.

Celebs!

We have looked at celebrites who have relatives with ASD, in their familes. We have written to these celebrites to ask, for raffle prizes, support and donations. Lets hope they give us their support! Watch this space!

Raffle!

Today 18/01/10, we had replies to our raffle letters. We have received three great prizes, we have had a £50 voucher from the Glendale Hotel. We have four £5 vouchers for McDonalds and we have a cut and blow dry from Creative Concept Salon. A big thanks to these companies!

Raffle Prizes

Since the beginning of January staff in S7 have been asking various companies for raffle prizes. Fingers crossed for good prizes! Thanks to all S7 staff for their help with this.

Bonus Ball

Every week, staff at Ashgrove have been buying a bonus ball. The winner gets £24 and £25 to the Ultimate Playground fund. Jodie in S1, has the bonus ball sheet, so anyone wanting a number please find Jodie. Thanks to Jodie for her continual effort.

December Group Fundraising

For December the total raised for the ultimate sensory playground was £544, we done everybody! Lets getting motivated this January, and achieve more!

Bottle Bags

After the Christmas concert, we had a bottle bag stall. The bottles were varied, maybe single malt whisky or malt vinegar! All bottles were kindly donated. £27 raised.

Name the Snowman

Thanks to Pat, we had a name the snowman competition running though December. Pat raised £17!

Christmas Art Work Sale

After the Christmas concerts, a one of a kind piece of art work from each child in primary and secondary, was available for parents to buy. After all the hard work from the children for their art work and the staff of S7 for there impressive framing skills, £200 was raised for the ultimate sensory playground. Thanks to all the parents that supported us with this.

Holly Wreaths

At Christmas we raised £300 by making and selling Holly wreaths. Thanks to all those who helped, in the making and selling of the Holly wreaths.
